Membership Terms
Plain-language terms for Adelante Sites membership. Read before you subscribe.
Own It in 24
Adelante Sites builds and operates your website. During membership: we own the code, design, and hosting infrastructure. You own all your own content (text, photos, logo, reviews, customer data, and any materials you supply). You pay a one-time build fee plus monthly membership.
After 24 consecutive paid months, you automatically receive full IP assignment (all code and design become yours) and a free domain transfer to any registrar you choose.
Cancel anytime: your site goes offline at the end of your current billing period, but you can always request a domain transfer (at standard registrar cost, around $25) or buy the site outright at the published price: remaining months to 24 times your monthly tier rate.

All memberships include 7-day live launch, month-to-month billing, bilingual English/Spanish site, and the Own It in 24 ownership path. Cancel anytime.
Presence
Build fee: $249 (one-time)
Monthly: $119/month
Your business online. Basic setup, essential pages, contact form, and domain hosting included.
Visible
Build fee: $349 (one-time)
Monthly: $189/month
Stand out. Premium design, multi-page site, blog, email capture, and SEO optimization included.
Growth
Build fee: $499 (one-time)
Monthly: $329/month
Scale your business. E-commerce setup, inventory management, CRM integration, analytics dashboard, and full growth-stage tooling.
Billing and Payment
Build fees are due upfront when you sign up. Monthly membership charges recur automatically on your billing date using Stripe. We charge in USD. You can update payment methods or pause membership anytime via your account dashboard.
Cancellation
You can cancel your membership anytime by logging into your account and selecting "Cancel." Your site remains live through the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your site goes offline unless you transfer the domain and migrate the site files.
No long-term contracts. No penalty for cancellation. If you cancel before 24 months and later want to own your domain or site code, we can discuss a buyout at fair market terms.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
During membership: Adelante Sites retains ownership of the site code, design system, and hosting infrastructure. You retain full ownership of all content you supply (text, photos, logo, customer data, reviews, and any third-party materials you have rights to use).
After 24 months: On your 24th consecutive month of paid membership, IP assignment is automatic. You own the code, design, and domain. No additional action needed.
Early buyout: You can request IP assignment anytime before 24 months. We calculate the price as: (months remaining to 24) × (your monthly membership rate). For example, if you are in month 12 of a $189/month Visible tier, the cost is (24 minus 12) × $189 = $2,268 for full ownership.
Content warranty: You represent that all content you supply (text, images, logos, customer reviews, third-party materials) is owned by you, properly licensed, or in the public domain. You will indemnify Adelante Sites for any third-party claims that your content infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights.
Preview Site Takedown
During the pre-launch phase, Adelante Sites may create an unsolicited live preview (demo) of your site for portfolio, testing, or marketing purposes. If you request removal, we will take that demo offline within 5 business days. This does not affect your live, paid membership site.
No Long-Term Contracts
Adelante Sites membership is offered month-to-month. There are no service level agreements (SLAs), no uptime guarantees, and no written service contract beyond these terms. You agree to resolve disputes under the law and jurisdiction specified below.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These membership terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to this agreement or the membership service shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Antonio, Texas.
Changes to Terms
Adelante Sites may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the membership after the update means you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you may cancel your membership.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Adelante Sites provides the membership service on an "as-is" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from viruses or malicious code. You use the service at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelante Sites is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
